Respect currently has one Member of Parliament, George Galloway, MP for Bradford West.

George won one of the most spectacular by-election victories ever in Bradford West, by over 10,000 votes, securing over 55% of the vote in the process on 29 March 2012.

Whilst representing Bradford West, George has campaigned in Parliament on a wide range of issues, including working with fellow Bradford MPs on a number of important issues for Bradford. This includes securing the future of the National Media Museum, saving the Odeon cinema from redevelopment and uncovering the mismanagement of the Kings Science Academy. On global issues, since being elected in 2012 George has continued to campaign on issues of global importance, including on the important debate against the war in Syria.
